About Stylebook Education

At Yeovil College, we are always looking for innovative ways to enhance our learners’ employability and prepare them for the evolving demands of the hair, beauty, and media makeup industries. Recognising the growing importance of digital marketing and professional online presence, we were excited to introduce Stylebook Education—a groundbreaking platform that allows our students to showcase their work directly to employers and clients.

Since launching Stylebook at the end of February, we have already seen a significant impact. One of our Media makeup learners won Beauty Profile of the Month, and a media makeup student secured volunteer makeup work—in just a few weeks! This demonstrates how Stylebook is bridging the gap between education and employment, providing learners with real-world opportunities while still in college.

Another appeal to Stylebook is its connection to educators, we are excited to explore the ‘Wings of elegance’ for our media makeup learners and how we can introduce some further training and enhancement to their curriculum.

What sets Stylebook apart is its user-friendly design and industry relevance. Employers can easily view student portfolios, making talent more visible than ever before. The platform also encourages learners to develop their digital identity in a professional and safe manner, an essential skill in today’s competitive job market.

Stylebook Education has honestly changed everything for me.

Before, I didn’t really know how to show my work properly, and I didn’t feel confident posting online. But Stylebook Education taught me how to build a professional profile, what kind of images to upload, and how to write a proper bio that actually gets noticed.
